What an invoice says to your customer
An invoice asks for payment for goods or services you have already supplied. It shows what was sold, what is owed and by when, so your customer can pay it and record it in their own books.
Business customers usually want their PAN on the document, a number they can quote, and the date. If you are registered for VAT, use the VAT bill type so the tax is shown on its own line. If you are registered for PAN only, use the PAN bill type, which carries no tax line at all.
How to make one in five steps

Add your business
Your business name, address, tax number and, if you like, your logo. The logo is read in your browser and never uploaded.

Add your customer
Name and address, plus their PAN if they are a business that needs it for their own accounts.

List what you sold
One line per item or service, with quantity and rate. Totals, discount, VAT and the amount in words update as you type.

Set the dates
The issue date and the due date both show in AD and Bikram Sambat, so nobody has to convert them.

Add a way to pay, then download

Questions
Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many documents you make.
Do you see or store my invoices?
No. The form, your logo and the PDF are all handled in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to PayBridgeNP. If you tick Remember my business, your own business details are kept in that browser only, never your customers, items or amounts.
Can I write in Nepali?
Yes. Item names, addresses and notes can be in Nepali and they print correctly in the PDF. The headings on the document are in English.
Can my customer pay from the invoice?
Yes. Add a payment link or your own Fonepay, eSewa or Khalti QR and the document prints a scan-to-pay code. The money goes straight to your own account, and this tool never handles it.
Does it show Bikram Sambat dates?
Yes. You pick dates in AD and each one prints with the matching BS date, for example 22 Sep 2026 and 6 Ashwin 2083 BS.
What is the difference between an invoice and a bill?
In everyday use in Nepal they mean the same thing. What matters is whether the document shows VAT, which depends on how your business is registered.
